About Fusion
Fusion is a fun way to craft Items and Powers! By joining together a combination of specific in-game items you can upgrade powers, or create new powers and items!
Finding Fusion
Fusion is easy to navigate to. It can be found on your Homescreen by tapping the Fusion button. Using the dropdown on this screen will reveal many categories which all contain fusion items.
Fusion Page Elements
The Fusion page consists of a few important elements:
• Dropdown Filter
Using this drop-down you can filter your Fusion items by category. Each category groups individual together craftable fusion items with a category name. Category names are very straightforward.
For example, if you want to fuse a new Upgraded red Blood power, simply select Filter by Power Upgrades in the drop-down and you'll see the entire list of powers available to fuse.
• Fusion Area
The fusion area is where all of your fusion work will take place. Each filter will display all items that are fusible.
In every filter category you'll see all items, including those you've met requirements for and those you haven't.
For your convenience, fusible item listings in each category are usually ordered alphabetically. There are some exceptions made to ease your perusal. For example, the Red Blood Power Upgrades will be ordered by required level.
• Name & Image
The name and image of the fusible item.
• Item Stats & Upkeep
In the case of powers, you'll see the power's stats and upkeep along with the image and name. This will not apply to collectable items which have no stats or upkeeps.
• Fuse! Button
The button you use to begin your fusion. When this button is bright and visible, you can make that item. If it's darkened, you're missing ingredients or lack another requirement.
• Claim! Button
When your fusion is ready, press the CLAIM! button and the item(s) will be delivered to your assets.
• Skip! Button
The button you use to skip a creation timer using Favor Points. (See Creation Timers below for more)
• Creation Limit
Some items, especially powers, have a set limit that can be created from fusion. Once a creation limit is reached, you can no longer make that item.
The creation limit is listed with the number of items you've currently made on the left side, with the max number you can make on the right.
When the limit is 0, you haven't made any of that item. When it is 1, you've made 1, and so on.
• Years Between
The gap-time you must wait to create another of this same item. The Years Between time is counted by your character's age increment. Remember that a single vampire year is equivalent to a real human day.
Note that you must log in to age, so if you miss a day's log in, you'll have added an extra day to your Years Between.
• Level Requirement
The level requirement on powers. You must meet or exceed this requirement to fuse the item. If you are below the level requirement, you'll be unable to make the item. This requirement prevents lower level players from attaining powers far too strong for them and preserves the game's balance.
• Creation Timer
A timer which will count down the required amount of time to craft any item. Your completed item can be claimed the moment the timer is complete.
The time it takes to fuse any item will range. This depends on the item, with many requiring little to no time at all. Any event item will always have a creation timer of [0].
Creation timers moderate the overall gameplay flow, which aids in leveling the playing field between those who have more time to play than those who don’t.
Favor Points may be used for instant fusion claims on all items, making shorter playing times more productive.
• FP (Skip) Amount
There is a small FP amount above each creation timer. This is the amount it will cost to use the Skip! button and negate the timer.
The amount of Favor Points needed to negate a timer will range depending on the timer's size and the amount of items being fused at once.
Favor Points can be earned for free in the game, or purchased at the Crypt.
Fusion Basics
• When to Fuse
Fusion is easy. At it's most basic: if the FUSE! button is bright and visible, you can make that item. If it's darkened, you're missing ingredients or lack another requirement.
If you're missing an ingredient, checking to see which is missing is easy.
• Claiming Completed Fusions
When your fusion is ready, press the CLAIM! button and the item(s) will be delivered to your assets.
• Checking Ingredients
Tap the green Show Recipe text below the item you want to fuse.
This will toggle open the ingredients necessary to fuse that item, and the text will change to Hide Recipe. You can toggle between Show and Hide as often as you want.
Once the ingredients are open, a red border on the item and red numbers below it indicate missing items. While looking at this text, you may see something like 20/25. The number on the left is how many of that ingredient that you currently have, while the second number indicates how many are required. So in this example we only have [20] of the [25] items required.
If you have all of the items and meet the all of the requirements, you'll see a green border on the item and a white number alongside a green number. Just as before, the number on the left is how many of that item you own, and the number on the right is how many are required. So if your numbers look something like 45/25, you've got more items than you need.
This system makes figuring out how close you are to fusing simple at a glance!
• Attaining Missing Ingredients
Most ingredients for fusion are from three places. Events, Prowling, and Powers. Paying attention to the category you're in should help you know where to hunt for your missing ingredients.
• Bulk Fusions
There are some categories which allow you fuse in bulk. This means you can fuse more than one item at a time. Red Blood Power upgrades is a great example, where you can fuse hundreds of items at once should you have the right ingredients and meet the requirements.
Locating Fused Items
